Officer Crane Day!
Posted on 02/21/2025
On Saturday, February 15th, we observed School Resource Officer (SRO) Appreciation Day—a day dedicated to recognizing and showing gratitude to School Resource Officers for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and school staff. These officers play a vital role in maintaining a secure learning environment, building positive relationships with students, and serving as mentors and role models.
The following Monday, February 17th, Kentuck Elementary celebrated SRO Appreciation Day by honoring Officer Crane. Students and teachers lined the hallways to express their gratitude, recognizing Officer Crane’s commitment to fostering a safe and positive school environment.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our SROs in Pittsylvania County Schools for their dedication and service in protecting and supporting our school communities.
