Celebrating New Wing with Ribbon Cutting
Celebrating New Wing with Ribbon Cutting
Posted on 09/14/2026
This past Saturday was a special day of celebration in Pittsylvania County Schools as Kentuck Elementary School officially welcomed its new wing with a ribbon-cutting ceremony!
Made possible through the community’s support of the 1% Sales Tax Referendum, this exciting expansion enhances educational facilities and creates new opportunities for our local students.
School and community leaders gathered to celebrate this milestone, share remarks, and officially cut the ribbon on this exciting addition. Guests also enjoyed semi-guided tours of the new wing throughout the event.
We are grateful for the community’s continued support of Pittsylvania County Schools and the investment in our students’ future!
