On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, student families at Kentuck Elementary School received Christmas dinners courtesy of the Old School Car Club of Alton, VA. This organization has been contributing to families in south central Virginia over the last few years as a way to give back to the community. Three of the club’s members, David Gunter, Tony Tana, and Vennie Whitlock, presented those meals to the Kentuck Elementary School staff members, who then gave them to the families before leaving for the winter break. Kentuck Elementary School greatly appreciates the Old School Car Club’s display of Christmas spirit and giving. Club members include Charlie Ewell, David Gunter, Ernest Hughes, Curtis King, James King, Henry Medley, Brad Miller, Dale Miller, Larry Miller, Stan Morphew, Wesson Sydnor, Tony Tana, and Vennie Whitlock.
